Certainly the most effective way to work on a dog-human topic – whether it's so-called "leash reactivity," loose leash walking, dog encounters, or reliable recall.

I offer you and your four-legged friend 1:1 support. I take the time to fully focus on your individual needs, and we work at your own pace.

In our first session, I’ll get to know where you both currently stand, learn about your situation, and give you an initial assessment.

From there, we’ll define how I can best support you going forward.

It’s very important to me that our dogs learn to move confidently and calmly among their own kind. To make that possible, they need practice, time, and as many “good” encounters as possible. By “good” encounters, I mean interactions that take place in a calm energy, where the dogs are allowed to get to know each other slowly and grow together –

grow in terms of development, but also as a team or even as a pack.

On my walks, I make sure that we maintain a peaceful group dynamic, and that each dog can participate in a way that feels right and safe for them. We usually begin on-leash, and if the group remains calm, off-leash moments are possible.

This session is similar to our group walks.

The advantage of the meadow training is that we have access to a safe, enclosed space where dogs can enjoy off-leash time. It also allows us to work on calm and gradual introductions.

Does your dog find it challenging when encountering other dogs and their humans?

Practising these situations in a controlled meadow setting can make a big difference.

A dog is moving in with you and you’d like to make the settling-in process as smooth as possible? Do you want to give your puppy a gentle start in life?

In the canton of Zurich, there are mandatory dog training courses. The practical course is required for all dogs from the age of 6 months.

I am a certified dog trainer and authorised to offer this course. Feel free to get in touch if you’re looking for a trainer.

The most important goal in Zurich is that you learn how to navigate everyday life safely with your dog. You will also learn what conditioning means and how to apply it correctly.

Your dog’s body language will also be an important topic. It’s especially important to me that you learn to read your dog and understand what they need in each moment.

If time allows, I’ll also be happy to show you alternative ways of guiding and communicating with your dog.

In my sessions, I always work with the best teachers for your dog: other dogs. We will practise encounters — or also non-encounters, if you simply want to pass by — and your dog can get used to being around others, observe them and learn from them, at their own pace.

And most importantly: we look at where you both are right now and what might currently be challenging. Whenever possible, I like to include your current questions and situations in the sessions.

We work in small groups of up to four dog–human teams. Very often, it will just be you, me, and the dogs. This allows me to focus on each team individually and meet you exactly where you are.
