WELCOME TO WAU-EFFECTS!

Coaching for Dogs and their people

Young dogs are like little children: everything is a first, and everything is exciting, fascinating — and sometimes a little scary. When we accompany them with love and attentiveness, they get to discover the world and build trust — in themselves, in us, and in life.

Calm and Confidence

Our dogs are confronted with all kinds of stimuli every day. Especially in the city, there’s so much to see, sniff, hear, and try.
By gently introducing our four-legged friends to these impressions, letting them explore in manageable doses, and offering them time to rest, we help them process and integrate it all.
This way, we support them in becoming increasingly confident companions in our everyday lives.

Dialogue and Relationship

Dogs have their very own way of communicating with each other.
They use facial expressions, eye contact, body language — and they sense the energy of the one in front of them.
If we want to understand our dog and truly connect, learning their language is a powerful gift.
Instead of relying solely on commands, we can enter into a real dialogue with them.
We can talk about things — together.
Through honest communication, a genuine, living relationship grows — one based on mutual respect, trust, and fair guidance.

Dogs communicating

"Your dog is constantly communicating with you.
The question is whether — and when — you choose to enter into a dialogue."

Holistic and Sustainable

My approach is always guided by one key goal: lasting impact.
A dog is an incredibly sensitive being.
They live closely with us and often become part of our little ecosystem.
Human and dog cannot be separated — we constantly influence one another.
That’s why I don’t just “adjust” the dog in isolation.
Instead, I take a closer look at how and where the dog lives — and what their behaviour might be trying to tell us.
From there, we can make gentle adjustments — together.
